Spencer Fane is pleased to announce attorney Elizabeth Wente has been named among Missouri Lawyers Media’s Law Firm Leaders.
The award is one of several that the news outlet bestows to recognize a Missouri attorney’s achievements. Elizabeth’s honor celebrates her as a “chairperson, managing partner, or other law firm executive who demonstrates extraordinary vision, innovation, and leadership” for her work as Chair of the Spencer Fane Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee.
Elizabeth and her 24 fellow honorees will be formally recognized at the 2023 Missouri Lawyers Awards on February 9.
At the firm, Elizabeth’s goal for her practice is to serve as a resource throughout the life of the organization, not only when the client is facing litigation. To do this, Elizabeth collaborates with employers to implement preventive policies and practices to mitigate the potential for employment litigation, put the employer in the best defensible position if litigation occurs, and improve the overall workplace. As a result, Elizabeth assists clients with a multitude of employee issues that can occur before, during, and after employment.
