Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce Joshua A. Decker has joined the firm’s Estate Planning group as Of Counsel in the Overland Park and Kansas City office.
Decker’s practice focuses on guiding individuals and families through various aspects of estate planning and trust and estate administration. His experience includes providing advice and preparation of documents with respect to a variety of trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and other relevant matters. Decker also provides assistance and advice to clients in connection with the coordination and management of financial resources, including assistance to elderly and disabled clients.

As part of his estate planning and administration practice, Decker has significant experience handling mineral interest transfers and working with the various oil companies to execute leases and division orders for clients. This includes an understanding of LLCs and other business entities and the ability to form these entities to not only protect assets but also to secure the most beneficial tax plan with regard to the overall estate plan.
Decker earned his Juris Doctor from the Washburn University School of Law.
