Spencer Fane attorney Bob Lattinville was recently interviewed for an article in USA Today on the factors contributing to high salaries for college baseball coaches.
Titled, “Top college baseball coaches make major-league money; at least nine at $1 million or more” the article outlines some of the highest paid college baseball coaches.
“If you’ve got a good (coach), you’re best off hanging on to him even if you have to pay top-of-the-market compensation,” Bob explained in the article. “With the ever-expanding responsibilities of ADs now, including some really tough issues, they will happily pay top-of-the-market for program success and stability.”
