The City Council of Springfield, Missouri, recently appointed Spencer Fane attorney Adam Holmes to the Springfield Board of Adjustment.
In this role, Adam will serve a five-year term conducting public hearings alongside his four fellow Board appointees. In his service on the Board of Adjustment, Adam will hear appeals of administrative decisions applying the City of Springfield Zoning Ordinance, decide questions involving the determination of zoning district boundary locations, allow special exceptions, and grant variances from the strict application of the ordinance, in accordance with established guidelines.
At Spencer Fane, Adam focuses his practice on commercial real estate transactions, real estate finance, tax-incentivized transactions, including renewable energy tax credits, low-income housing tax credits, and historic tax credits, construction and commercial real estate development, commercial lending, and a variety of other transactional work.
