Tom Slover focuses his practice in commercial real estate, leasing, banking, corporate and partnership law. He regularly assists clients with acquisitions, dispositions, development and finance, leasing, foreclosures, property management agreements, and service contracts.

A Dallas native, Tom studied law at Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law after receiving his undergraduate education from Vanderbilt University. He continued his education at the University of London, Queen Mary and Westfield College, earning an LLM degree in finance and banking law. While pursuing this degree, he served as an assistant editor to both the Yearbook of International Financial and Economic Law 1997 and The Changing World of International Law in the Twenty-First Century.

Tom is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Dallas Bar Association, including the Real Property Section and International Law Section. He is fluent in Spanish.

Highlights of Tom’s experience include:

  • Represented seller in $217.7 million sale of medical property portfolio to a national REIT.
  • Development of 107,055-square-foot surgery center and medical office building in Dallas, Texas.
  • Acquisition of 4.8 million-square-foot industrial facility in Dallas, Texas.
  • Development of 53,430-square-foot rehabilitation hospital within the boundaries of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, Scottsdale, Arizona.
  • Purchase of two 60-bed skilled nursing facilities in Mesa and Sun City, Arizona.
  • Development of 26,808-square-foot senior living facility in Littleton, Colorado.
  • Served as local Texas counsel for a mortgage-backed $55 million revolving line of credit and for other real estate transactions.
  • Development of 52,944-square-foot long-term acute care hospital on a ground lease in Rome, Georgia.
  • Purchase of 1,200 acres of timberland in Houston, Walker and San Jacinto Counties, Texas.
  • Development of 107,055-square-foot surgery center and medical office building in Dallas, Texas.
  • Development of 25,000-square-foot medical office building in Cedar Hill, Texas.
  • Development of a 55,000-square-foot, 40-bed, inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Kyle, Texas.
  • Acquisition of 4.8 million-square-foot industrial facility in Dallas, Texas.
  • Preparation and negotiation of numerous single-tenant and multi-tenant commercial lease agreements throughout the USA.
  • Foreclosure sales in Dallas, Collin and Tarrant Counties on behalf of national banks.
