Charissa Sloan Dvorak has recently been appointed by Texas Governor Greg Abbott to serve on the state’s Council on Sex Offender Treatment. Since 1983, the council members, recognized by the State of Texas as experienced professionals in the treatment and management of sex offenders, have set forth the standards for treatment to enhance public safety and oversee the licensing of sex offender treatment providers.
