Titled “U.S. Supreme Court to hear arguments in Murphy case Tuesday,” the article outlines the Murphy v. Carpenter case’s appeal process. The main factor of the case is whether the reservation where the crime took place was disestablished or not. “If you go back into the treaties and look at how the land was treated, there was a clear intent by Congress to disestablish it,” A.J. explains in the article.
