Spencer Fane attorney Ayesha Mehdi will serve as an adjunct professor at the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in spring 2026.
Established in 1998, Boyd Law is currently the only law school in Nevada. Its curriculum boasts the No. 1 Legal Writing Program and No. 9 Dispute Resolution Program in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 Best Law Schools rankings. As part of the spring 2026 semester, Ayesha will teach the school’s Health Care Organization and Finance course.
At Spencer Fane, Ayesha works closely with physicians and other health care professionals, along with various health care and closely held businesses, in a wide range of corporate, transactional, regulatory, and licensure matters. She serves as outside counsel for her clients to help them reach their goals in physician employment, recruitment, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures, as well as providing solutions when dealing with professional board complaints, reimbursement issues, and corporate compliance.
