Prior to joining Spencer Fane, he was Senior Litigation Counsel/Regional Counsel for the Chief Counsel Office of Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission. There, he tried fourteen jury trials in the areas of personal injury, eminent domain/condemnation, and construction contracts; and received the outstanding trial result award in 1999.
