Trial of Business Disputes

Patrick has first-chaired numerous trials to verdict. His extensive trial experience has ranged from securing seven-figure jury verdicts in federal court to defending patent claims before the International Trade Commission to defending securities brokerages in FINRA proceedings.

Patrick leads the Firm's Intellectual Property Litigation efforts where he has successfully handled hundreds of trademark, patent, trade secret, copyright, software, Internet, unfair competition, and other business disputes throughout the United States and represented clients on such matters throughout the world.

Intellectual Property Protection

Patrick regularly counsels clients on protocols to safeguard their most valuable intangible assets. He is a Member of the National Intellectual Property Governance Task Force and has developed a range of practical approaches to guard against competitive intelligence efforts and employee misappropriation.

He has crafted privacy policies for dozens of clients; primarily companies engaged in electronic commerce and trading. Patrick's work on behalf of Internet and other technology companies began over ten years ago and has included all aspects of his clients' IP portfolio.
