Mike Hockley and Jim Price have been recognized as Fellows in the America College of Environmental Lawyers (ACOEL). The ACOEL is a professional association of distinguished lawyers who practice in the field of environmental law. Membership is by invitation and members are recognized by their peers as preeminent in their field. ACOEL members are dedicated to: maintaining and improving the ethical practice of environmental law; the administration of justice; and the development of environmental law at both the state and federal level.
Mike and Jim are one of several Spencer Fane attorneys who have been selected for College Fellowship in their respective fields. Their selection is a significant accomplishment. An attorney cannot apply for membership in the Colleges. Fellowship is granted by invitation only. Fellows are selected on the basis of professional reputation and ability within their respective fields and on the basis of having made substantial contributions to those fields through lecturing, writing, teaching, and bar activities. Each Fellow is recognized as preeminent in their respective field, in addition to being noted for outstanding performance within the profession and exemplifying the attributes of integrity, dedication, and excellence.
