Kelly's practice focuses on litigation of business and environmental matters, including products liability, toxic torts, mold, asbestos, and compliance issues. Since joining the firm, Kelly has developed considerable focus on electronic discovery. Kelly assists clients in complying with the new amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure relating to Electronically Stored Information. She speaks at many seminars and programs on construction disputes, mold litigation, and electronic discovery.
Before joining Spencer Fane, Kelly served in the United States Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps. She gained considerable trial experience prosecuting criminal trials before Navy and Marine Corps courts-martial and federal courts in Southern District of California through her work at the U.S. Attorney's Office in San Diego. Because of Kelly's extensive trial experience, the JAG Corps selected her to teach senior line officers and other Judge Advocates at Naval Justice School in Newport, R.I.
