Elizabeth is a partner at Spencer Fane where she focuses her legal practice on the representation of financial institutions and economic development. She received her law degree from the University of Kansas and her undergraduate degree from Pittsburg State University. In addition, she has her Master of Business Administration degree and she is a Certified Public Accountant.
Before joining Spencer Fane, Elizabeth was the General Counsel, Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary for a publicly-traded bank, where she managed all legal, regulatory and compliance matters of a $9 billion financial institution with more than 130 branches in Missouri and Kansas.
Elizabeth is a member of the Missouri State Banking Board, appointed by the Governor, and she also is a member of the Kansas City Industrial Development Authority, appointed by the Mayor. She has published a 900 page legal resource book on Missouri business law through Thomson West Publishing Company.
