Retail Development
For a number of years, Mr. Grice has had a special affinity for retail development. He has worked on numerous projects bundling incentive packages primarily anchored by tax increment financing. The approaches used for project finance include bond financing and other conventional sources to achieve an optimal financing for the given retail project. Mr. Grice has also worked extensively with land-use issues and other entitlements, as well as basic real estate transactional issues. As a member of International Council of Shopping Centers, Mr. Grice has uniquely networked and connected to people who make things happen in the Midwest region.

Multi Family Housing and Tax Credit Development
Mr. Grice has assisted a number of developers in connection with different tax credit programs utilized to enhance multi-family housing developments. Primarily, his practice area involves utilization of low income housing tax credits and/or historic rehabilitation credits but also includes significant works in the area of tax exempt bond finance.

Infrastructure Finance
Mr. Grice has worked extensively in the area of infrastructure policy and innovative financing strategies for infrastructure improvements. He has participated in multi-jurisdictional efforts to come up with accelerated funding approaches for significant infrastructure improvements, as well as simple grant programs to offset extraordinary infrastructure costs in connection with a specific project.

Tax Exempt Financing
Mr. Grice has worked in connection with numerous tax exempt bond transactions and draws upon that experience to help structure project financing for various transactions throughout the Midwest. Through this tax exempt bond experience, Mr. Grice has a significant foundation in the financing approaches that may be available to finance commercial real estate projects.
